Social Emotional Learning
The Storytellers Project is an arts integrated social-emotional learning program. We offer in school and out of school time programming for youth and grades K-12. Our innovative SEL curriculum is culturally responsive, trauma informed, and aligned to the learning standards of the Collaborative for Academic Social and Emotional learning CASEL.
Middle and High School Programs
The Storytellers Project offers several programs for in-school enrichment and/or electives for middle and high school-age youth. The traditional Storytellers Project SEL curriculum, EMPOWER a program for teen girls, Art and Social justice, 3-D Art, SEL Dance and Movement, and more.
Breaking Chains Building Bonds
Breaking Chains Building Bonds is an intergenerational program designed to heal the wounds of incarceration for formally incarcerated parents and their children and/or justice-involved youth and their families. Parents and their children will bond and learn new skills through hip-hop, spoken word, art, storytelling, mindfulness, and martial arts workshops.
