Transformational Healing Through Art and Storytelling
Arts Integrated Social Emotional Learning
What we do
SEL Programs
The Storytellers Project is an arts integrated social-emotional learning program. We offer in school and out of school time programming for youth and grades K-12. Our innovative SEL curriculum is culturally responsive, trauma informed, and aligned to the learning standards of the Collaborative for Academic Social and Emotional learning CASEL.
Breaking Chains Building Bonds
Breaking Chains Building Bonds is an intergenerational program designed to heal the wounds of incarceration for formally incarcerated parents and their children and/or justice-involved youth and their families. Parents and their children will bond and learn new skills through hip-hop, spoken word, art, storytelling, mindfulness, and martial arts workshops.
Professional Development
A compassionate classroom is one where the social/emotional needs and development of students is as important as their academic and intellectual development. It is a classroom where teachers and students co-create a sense of safety and mutual respect…
“When you stand and share your story in an empowering way, your story will heal you, and your story will heal someone else.”
